The Division of Chinese Politics and Military Affairs seeks to cultivate in-depth research in the PRC's politics and military and aims to leverage Taiwan’s unique research experience and advantage in this field, asserting the leading position in PRC studies worldwide. Our team includes academics specializing in PRC studies, former practitioners in mainland China affairs government sectors, as well as a scholar of diplomatic history with wide fieldwork experiences. We aim to develop innovative theoretical and practical perspectives, providing sound analyses in PRC studies evidence-based policy advice in our annual assessment reports and scholarly papers.
