Center for Quantitative Analysis and Decision-Making Simulation

The Center for Quantitative Analysis and Decision-Making Simulation takes a quantitative approach to national defense and security and conducts various simulations. We use quantitative analysis to support government policymaking and risk assessment at both regional and national levels. Our center conducts quantitative data analysis to support other INDSR divisions in their understanding of the dynamics of the security situation in the Asia-Pacific region. We employ a simulation approach to analyze possible scenarios regarding the security environment of Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region. Our war games include experts from various divisions which allows us to assess important decisions affecting Taiwan’s national security. Our goal is to assist INDSR to scientifically develop reliable and sound policy recommendations to the Taiwanese government.
