With anti-ship missiles range extending and sensors accuracy increasing, littoral countries possess the ability of anti-access/area denial more than ever. U.S. Navy introduced the “Distributed Lethality” and “Distributed Maritime Operation” concept in order to respond to challenges. Through combat capabilities contribution to more platforms and extensive space, US Navy could keep enough combat power and secure operational favorite position. In order to implement operation concept, U.S. Navy developed actively unmanned surface vehicles in recent years. Through vehicles increasing, could disturb enemy’s decision process and dispose more forces for detection, tracking, and engagement. In the foreseeable future, U.S. is expected to be a hybrid fleet that combine manned and unmanned vehicles. Distributed fleet architecture could help U.S. Navy to keep maritime supremacy for a long time.
