國防院從去年年底至今年年初已有日本NHK、印度新德里時報、彭博社和荷蘭海牙安全中心等媒體與智庫，與國防院研究員討論中共的海上作為、解放軍演訓等印太區域安全議題。

彭博社以中共軍機今年擾台倍增為題，訪問本院歐錫富研究員，他表示對潛在爭端的憂心；荷蘭海牙安全中心與本院李俊毅探討了中共侵台意圖，分析解放軍強化兩棲登陸能力，另外也用嚇阻與脅迫手段壓迫我國政策選項，讓美國須採取策略穩定台海並給予台灣必要協助。而台灣也必須在國際增加影響力，方能持續嚇阻中共；日本NHK報導中共解放軍新型戰鬥機侵入我國飛航識別區，造成我國空軍資源消耗與情勢緊張。
