At the request of Xi Jinping, PLA training reform has been gradually carried out and implemented. Under the principle of "governing the army according to law", the CCP revised the PLA's training regulations one after another and required the PLA to continually improve its military training. During this process, the PLA's training gradually eliminated formalism and fraudulent training, and the intensity of training also increased. The PLA's "actual combat training" has expanded its military presence in the Taiwan Strait, East China Sea, South China Sea, and other related areas. Moreover, the progress of training reform has become a tool for CCP to leverage. On the one hand, the CCP has issued strong political warnings to Taiwan and its allies through military operations and drills; on the other hand, it has greatly increased its military intensity around Taiwan and established a new normal in the Taiwan Strait, using related political events to conduct military operations and change the status quo of the Taiwan Strait. In the future, the military activities and training of the PLA in the sea and airspace surrounding Taiwan will continue unabated.
